It took some time because of the Covid crisis but he’s here. Edoardo Trionfera a.k.a. Dodici finally made it to Bonaire. Until the 5th of December Dodici will reinforce our team and project with his talent and experience. Dodici, who is Italian but working and living in Rotterdam is a freelance illustrator with a very distinctive, cartoonish style. For Street Colors Bonaire he will be mainly guiding our talent group, motivating them, inspiring them and teaching them skills and what it takes to be a professional artist. Together they will be working on many murals starting at Selibon’s ‘Milieuplein’ at Kaya Industria.

According to Dodici:” It’s my mission to inspire the youth of Bonaire these coming weeks. I think the most important thing about teaching art is to teach them skills, to answer questions and especially to give them a free hand. It is very important to never limit ones creativity. I would never tell them what colors, details or style to use. Besides, I will probably learn just as much from them as they will from me.”
In addition to working with the talent group, Dodici will be giving workshops to the students of MBO, several primary schools, Forsa, a masterclass for artists on the island and whatever else will cross his path . Good times ahead!
